About JPSA

The Jefferson Parish Soccer Academy (JPSA) is a newly created 501c3 non-profit charity organization built on the foundation of promoting and developing mutual respect, character and hard work in the children of the community of Jefferson Parish through the participation in the sport of soccer. The founders of JPSA have over 100 years of teaching and coaching experience to children of all ages, ethnicities and genders within our parish. Together with partnerships with the Jefferson Parish Council and government, the Jefferson Parish Recreational Department (JPRD), and local businesses across the parish, we believe that we can create a model that can be used for the betterment of our young people through sport.

Our Clubs Vision

To provide our players with the best soccer experience available.

To require our parents to have a commitment to develop their sons and daughters into the best people they can be, both on and off the field. This is accomplished through well-organized games, practices and community events with an emphasis on positive character traits such as good sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, effort, persistence, positive attitude, honoring the game and respect for coaches, opponents and officials.

To provide our coaches with continuing technical and tactical education to become Positive Coaches with the goal to develop players both athletically and socially.

To provide quality coaching that engages, challenges and inspires young athletes, regardless of previous experience, to reach their highest level in the sport of soccer;

To fulfill civic responsibility by actively participating in community partnerships and activities;

To encourage and provide support allowing our athletes to achieve academic success;

To provide a pathway open to all soccer players who wish to participate, allowing them to reach their full potential by providing age- and developmentally-appropriate programming geared toward long-term success and enjoyment over short-term outcomes;

To provide an environment where soccer players build character through the development of important life skills such as time management, responsibility, resilience, sportsmanship, work ethic and teamwork;

To provide a culture where open honest communication between staff, club officials, players and parents is encouraged;

To provide a structure and environment where winning is important but player development is paramount;

To create a safe environment that contributes to the development of mentally and physically healthy individuals that have self-confidence and respect for themselves and for others;

To provide our membership with a high level of customer service that ensures a quality sporting experience;

To create an environment that facilitates the growth of the sport of soccer and fosters a love of the game.
